چکیده

The rapid growth in the world population resulted an increase of freshwater needs many sectors. Groundwater is most important source specially for arid and semi-arid regions due to lack surface water sources low precipitation rates those regions. In this study, monthly groundwater quality data were collected from eleven well fields Sharjah over period 2004-2017. Water parameters including bicarbonate, calcium, chloride, fluoride, magnesium, sodium sulphate selected analysis. index (WQI) process used develop (GWQI) using above mentioned parameters. Mann-Kendall Spearman’s Rho tests adopted as non-parametric trend temporal (trend) analysis GWQI, whereas inverse distance weighting interpolation was GWQI spatial Temporal results showed significant trends 8 out 11 fields. Spatial highest values salinity ions closest northern region, lowest detected southern region.
